SOUTH SHORE HOSPITAL

South Shore Hospital is noted for being ?the largest independently operated hospital in Eastern Massachusetts, with the second largest emergency center and maternity center,? as researched by the Boston Business Journal. The hospital is affiliated with many major Boston hospitals and is currently building a cancer center. Some of these affiliations include leading academic medical centers such as the Children?s Hospital in Boston, Brigham & Women?s Hospital, New England Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

EDUCATION

Weymouth is served by several public schools including Murphy, Nash, Union Street, Talbot and Hamilton Elementary Schools, Adams and Chapman Middle Schools and Weymouth High School.
